Each remote can manually trigger up to 3 feeders independently once they are paired together. The first feeder is paired at the factory and then if you want to add a second or third feeder to the remote just follow the instructions in the User Manual(can be downloaded from this support site). After the factory paring assigns the first feeder to button 1 on the remote the next feeder paired will be assigned to button 2 and then the third feeder is assigned to button 3. The manual also has instructions to clear all the previous pairings.
